Kingspan Off-Site Appoints New Technical Director
30 Apr 2007
Kingspan Off-Site has appointed Dr Paul Newman as its technical director, with the remit to optimise efficiency and enhance customer service. Previously manager of site-based services with TRADA technology, Paul will have overall responsibility for all technical aspects of Kingspan Off-Site.
Part of Paul’s role will be to develop and implement Kingspan Off-Site’s technical strategy and to push product boundaries. Paul will also work to provide a more effective service by dealing directly with customers and their design teams. A third task within the technical director’s role will be to review existing systems and where necessary implement changes to improve the technical efficiencies in all areas.
Paul will head up an established team of technical managers and have responsibility for all technical aspects of Kingspan Off-Site, including the Optima and TEK Building Systems.
Phil Key, director at Kingspan Off-Site said: “We already have one of the best technical teams in the country, and we are very pleased to have secured the services of Paul, one of the finest experts in the country, to head up that team. Our aim is to bring Kingspan Off-Site to a world-class level of technical efficiencies and I’m sure that Paul is the right man to do this.
“In addition to improving our technical processes, I know that Paul, a former lecturer at London Guildhall University, will prove to be an important asset in working face to face with, and strengthening relationships with, our customers.”
